Chairwoman Patterson-Howard asked if there was new business:
Comptroller Morton - last Thursday we started the legal requirements of public notice of public tax
lien sale, scheduled for June 24th. Notice in the paper for the next four weeks. we will be sending
notices to property owners as a final notice that their property will be up for sale, it is not a
requirement, we are doing it as a courtesy. 129 properties, as per the charter, these are the oldest.
Then we will schedule for subsequent months, next dates, not sold in the first, it will roll over to the
next sale. property owners still have a change to have their properties removed. the tax lien has 3
years to collect from the owner without going into default and has the option to pay it in full.
Mayor asked for a motion to adjourn.
