CALL TO ORDER / PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Lead by Councilman Poteat
Council President Danielle Browne called the meeting to order and provided general house-keeping
rules, including encouraging citizens to share the meeting on social media and what to do “in case of
emergency”. Council President Browne explained the 3-minute-plus-1 public comment rule. She then
asked a Councilperson to lead the council in the Pledge of Allegiance. Council President then proceeded
to the Public Speakers session of the evening (listed below as public comment).

1. Barabara Schrock 22 E Grand St, 10552
"What's happening in Fleetwood"
Councilman Poteat- requested more information from the speaker regarding the time frame of
the double parking. Speaker explained it is constant and she and her neighbors call to have
tickets issued.
Councilman Gleason-requested more specific description of the location 34 E. Grand (double
parking) and explained that Department of Public Works is going out for bid for a company to
conduct a traffic study.
Councilman Thompson-will look into the issue with council members
Council President Browne-will work with Antoinette Anderson, Legislative Aide to speak with
Department of Public Works on the one-way street bigger signage. Traffic study takes time and
we are going to do a city -wide traffic study.

"Charter Review Commission budget and spending"
Councilman Poteat-will review the recommendations to be implemented for next year.
Councilman Gleason-agreed with the speaker with processes and procedures in place for the
Charter Review Commission and the structure needs to be reviewed.
Councilman Thompson-requested to speak offline
Council President Browne-requested more clarification from the speaker as to why the Charter
Review Commision is not following a specific procedure on the budget and as to why the
speaker is brining this to the attention of the Council.

"Renaming theater at the Doles Center after Tina Satin"
Councilman Gleason-Thinks it’s a good idea to rename the theater after Tina Satin
