AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING
THE COMPREHENSIVE WAGE INCREASE
AGREEMENT WITH THE POLICE ASSOCIATION
Whereas, by letter dated November 28, 2023, the Mayor has requested legislation requesting the City Council to ratify and approve the Comprehensive Wage Increase Agreement entered into between the City of Mount Vernon (the "City") and the Police Association of the City of Mount Vernon, Inc. ("PBA"); and
Whereas, the City and the PBA have negotiated a comprehensive Wage Increase Agreement; and
Whereas, the City Council seeks to ratify and approve the terms of the said comprehensive Wage Increase Agreement; Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved That
The City of Mount Vernon, in City Council convened, does hereby ordain, and enact:
Section 1. Ratification of Comprehensive Wage Increase Agreement. The City Council hereby ratifies and approves the Comprehensive Wage Increase Agreement entered into between the City of Mount Vernon and the PBA.
Section 2. Terms of the Comprehensive Wage Increase Agreement. The terms of the Comprehensive Wage Increase Agreement are as follows:
