RESOLVED, that an ordinance adopted by the City Council on December 13, 2023, and signed by the Mayor on December 14, 2023, amending Ordinance No. 23, adopted by the City Council on February 13, 2020, entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION FOR CORRECTION TO THE YEAR 2019 CITY AND COUNTY TAX BILLS AND DIRECTING THE COMPTROLLER TO ISSUE A REFUND" - (correction to the [2019] 2018 Assessment Roll for the [2020] 2019)), be and the same is hereby approved.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 23,
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON FEBRUARY 13,
2020, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION FOR CORRECTION
TO THE YEAR 2019 CITY AND COUNTY TAX BILLS
AND DIRECTING THE COMPTROLLER TO ISSUE A REFUND"
The City of Mount Vernon, in City Council convened, does hereby ordain and enact:
Section 1. The first decretal paragraph, and Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance No. 23, adopted by the City Council on February 13, 2020, entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION FOR CORRECTION TO THE YEAR 2019 CITY AND COUNTY TAX BILLS AND DIRECTING THE COMPTROLLER TO ISSUE A REFUND" is hereby amended as follows:
WHEREAS, by letter dated [January 21, 2020] December 5, 2023, the Commissioner of the Department of Assessment has requested an amendment to Amendment No. 23, adopted by the City Council on February 13, 2020, where she advised the City Council that as a result of a clerical error, CHURCH OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST OF THE APOSTOLIC FAITH, tax amount for Block 3159, Lot 9 on the [2019] 2018 Assessment Roll for the [2020] 2019 City Tax Roll was incorrectly omitted, which now warrants a correction in the amount of $1,715.39 for the City; and County Tax Roll in amount of $1,010.05; NOW, THEREFORE,
