RESOLVED, that an Ordinance adopted by the City Council on June 24, 2026, and signed by the Mayor on June 25, 2026, authorizing the Mayor to Execute an Intergovernmental Agreement with the New York State Office of Information Technology Services and the New York State Division of Homeland Security for and Emergency Services for Participation in Phase II of the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Program at no Cost to the City - (no appropriation of City funds shall be required for the licensing costs associated with the EDR Program. All software licensing costs, estimated at Seventy-Nine Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-Five Dollars and Fifty Cents ($79,285.50) over the term of the agreement, shall be paid by New York State; fully reimbursable through grant funding and does not require any matching contribution from the City); be, and the same is hereby approved.

Whereas, in correspondence dated June 16, 2026, the Commissioner of the Department of Management Services formally requested authorization for the Mayor to execute, on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, an Intergovernmental Agreement with the New York State Office of Information Technology Services and the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services for participation in Phase II of the Endpoint Detection and Response Program, together with such amendments, renewals, certifications, and related documents as may be necessary to effectuate the purposes of this Ordinance; and
