Board of Estimate and Contract:
RESOLVED, that an ordinance adopted by the City Council on December 27, 2023, and signed by the Mayor on December 28, 2023, authorizing, and directing the Comptroller to issue Tax refund/credit for the years 2020 - 2022 due to an incorrect entry on the assessment roll of the properties (for 0 North Macquesten Parkway), be and the same is hereby approved.

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE COMPTROLLER TO ISSUE TAX REFUND/CREDIT
FOR THE YEARS 2020 -2022 DUE TO AN INCORRECT
ENTRY ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL OF THE PROPERTIES
(FOR 0 NORTH MACQUESTEN PARKWAY)
WHEREAS, by letter dated December 21, 2023, the Commissioner of the Department of Assessment advised the City Council, that as a result of an incorrect entry on the assessment roll of the following MTA properties (vacant land):
• The refund/credit for 0 North MacQuesten Parkway - 1052.2.1 for City, County, and School for the years 2020 - 2022:
o Refund/credited for School: $9,689.54
o Refund/credited for City: $7,011.65
o Refund/credited for County: $ 957.98
• The refund/credit for 0 North MacQuesten Parkway - 1052.2.3 for City, County, and School for the years 2020 - 2022:
o Refund/credited for School: $250.12
o Refund/credited for City: $130.73
o Refund/credited for County: $ 50.30
• The refund/credit for 0 North MacQuesten Parkway - 1052.4 for City, County, and School for the years 2020 - 2022:
o Refund/credited for School: $16,632.77
o Refund/credited for City: $ 8,692.35
o Refund/credited for County: $ 3,343.68
; NOW, THEREFORE,
The City of Mount Vernon, in City Council convened, does hereby ordain and enact:
Section 1. The Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to issue a refund/credit as indicated above.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval by the Board of Estimate & Contract.
