RESOLVED, that an Ordinance adopted by the City Council on June 10, 2026, and signed by the Mayor on June 25, 2026, authorizing the Mayor to Enter into an Agreement with IamWillliamG Enterprise, LLC to Provide a Fitness and Nutrition Program for Youth Participants through the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau - (for an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) and funding for this agreement is available through the Westchester County Youth Bureau M.I.M. grant and shall be accounted for in Revenue Code A2229.8, with expenditures charged to Budget Code A7338.405 (Contracted Outside Services); this grant is fully reimbursable and requires no local matching funds from the City of Mount Vernon); be, and the same is hereby approved.

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH
IAMWILLIAMG ENTERPRISE, LLC TO
PROVIDE A FITNESS AND NUTRITION
PROGRAM FOR YOUTH PARTICIPANTS
THROUGH THE MOUNT VERNON YOUTH BUREAU
Whereas, in correspondence dated June 3, 2026, the Executive Director of the Youth Bureau formally requested authorization for the Mayor to execute an agreement IamWilliamG Enterprise, LLC for the provision of a Fitness and Nutrition Program for youth participants through the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, for an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), subject to review and approval as to form by the Corporation Counsel; and
Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance No. 10 adopted on January 14, 2025, the City Council authorized the acceptance of grant funding in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) from the Westchester County Youth Bureau under the M.I.M. Program to support and promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the youth of the City of Mount Vernon; and
Whereas, the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau has identified the need for a structured fitness and wellness program designed to improve the physical health, confidence, self-discipline, and overall well-being of participating youth; and
Whereas, the Youth Bureau desires to engage IamWilliamG Enterprise, LLC to conduct a thirteen (13) session Fitness and Nutrition Program for twenty-five (25) youth participants, commencing on or about July 8, 2026, and concluding on or about August 13, 2026; and
Whereas, the program shall include guided physical fitness activities focusing on strength, flexibility, proper exercise techniques, nutrition education, healthy lifestyle choices, team-building exercises, and instruction intended to foster self-belief, self-confidence, self-motivation, teamwork, and mutual support among participants; and
Whereas, the total cost of said services shall not exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and
Whereas, funding for this agreement is available through the Westchester County Youth Bureau M.I.M. grant and shall be accounted for in Revenue Code A2229.8, with expenditures charged to Budget Code A7338.405 (Contracted Outside Services); and
Whereas, said grant is fully reimbursable and requires no local matching funds from the City of Mount Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOUNT VERNON:
Section 1. Authorization of Agreement. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with IamWilliamG Enterprise, LLC for the provision of a Fitness and Nutrition Program for youth participants through the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, for an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), subject to review and approval as to form by the Corporation Counsel.
Section 2. Funding. The Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to make payment for services rendered pursuant to the agreement from Budget Code A7338.405 (Contracted Outside Services), utilizing funds available through the Westchester County Youth Bureau M.I.M. grant.
Section 3. Implementation. The Mayor, Comptroller, Youth Bureau Director, and any other City officials deemed necessary are hereby authorized to execute such documents and take such actions as may be necessary to effectuate the purposes of this Ordinance.
Section 6. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the City Council and subsequent approval by the Board of Estimate and Contract.
