RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MOUNT VERNON, NEW YORK
FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF CHAD CHRISTIAN
AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER OF THE CABLE
TELEVISION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, Chapter 12, Section 12-4 of the Mount Vernon City Code provides for the appointment of alternate members of the Cable Television Advisory Committee by the City Council of the City of Mount Vernon; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appoint Chad Christian as an alternate member of the Cable Television Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the appointment of an alternate member will assist the Cable Television Advisory Committee in fulfilling its duties and responsibilities as provided by the Mount Vernon City Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Mount Vernon, New York, as follows:
1. Appointment. Chad Christian is hereby appointed as an Alternate Member of the Cable Television Advisory Committee of the City of Mount Vernon, pursuant to Chapter 12, Section 12-4 of the Mount Vernon City Code.
2. Term. The term of appointment shall be for one (1) year, commencing on August 12, 2026, and expiring on August 11, 2027.
3. Duties and Responsibilities. The appointee shall perform the duties and responsibilities of an alternate member of the Cable Television Advisory Committee in accordance with Chapter 12 of the Mount Vernon City Code and all other applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies of the City of Mount Vernon.
4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council.
5. Further Authorization. The appropriate City officials are hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary and appropriate actions to effectuate the purposes of this Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this Resolution shall be provided to Chad Christian and maintained among official records of the City of Mount Vernon.
