RESOLVED, that an Ordinance adopted by the City Council on August 12, 2026, and signed by the Mayor on August 13, 2026, authorizing the Mayor to Enter into an Agreement with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services for the Acceptance and Administration of a $20,000.00 Grant for the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau's EmpowerMED Program - (the grant revenue in the amount of $20,000.00 shall be recorded in Revenue Code A3389.1 and appropriated and expended, subject to the terms and conditions of the grant agreement and applicable laws, rules, and regulations, among the following budget codes:
* A7340.104 - Salaries
* A7340.402 - Travel
* A7340.405 - Contracted Outside Services
* A7340.407 - Leasing & Printing
* A7340.458 - Miscellaneous
* A7340.467 - Program Supplies
* A7340.803 - FICA
; and the same is hereby approved.

STATE OFFICE OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES
FOR THE ACCEPTANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OF

Whereas, in correspondence dated August 4, 2026, the Executive Director of the Youth Bureau requested authorization for the Mayor of the City of Mount to enter into an agreement with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services ("OCFS"), and to execute any and all documents reasonably necessary or appropriate in connection therewith, for the acceptance and administration of grant funds in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) for the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau's EmpowerMED Program; and
