AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE YOUTH
BUREAU TO DISPOSE OF AN UNUSED PRINTER
Whereas, by letter dated January 26, 2024, the Executive Director of the Youth Bureau has requested legislation authorizing the disposal of a Konica Minolta Bizhub 223, ID#93329452 printer, located at 105 Steven Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY 10550, suite 401, also known as the Safe Place 4 Our Girls Program office (SP4OG); and
Whereas, the Mayor and the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau have determined that the Konica Minolta Bizhub 223 printer, ID#93329452, located at 105 Steven Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY 10550, suite 401, also known as the Safe Place 4 Our Girls Program office (SP4OG), is no longer in use; and
Whereas, it is in the best interest of the City to dispose of the unused printer; Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved That
The City of Mount Vernon, in City Council convened, does hereby ordain, and enact:
Section 1. Disposal Authorization. The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau to dispose of the Konica Minolta Bizhub 223 printer, ID#93329452, located at 105 Steven Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY 10550, suite 401, also known as the Safe Place 4 Our Girls Program office (SP4OG).
Section 2. No Cost Associated. There is no cost associated with the disposal of the printer, and it does not add any expense to the city.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
